Mountain And Cave Safety

Make the county-return decision once, at a staffed service area, using the actual cave exit or mountain descent time. For Yishui, work backwards through the scenic exit, county transfer or vehicle collection, dinner and the return to Lanshan. If the final connection, ride-hailing coverage or rain-and-fog road conditions are uncertain, stay in Yishui County and confirm late check-in before leaving the attraction. For Mengshan, make the ticket, navigation pin and hotel address point to the same Guimeng, Yunmeng or Tianmeng entrance; if the planned ride has gone after descent, wait at the staffed service area and contact the hotel or a regulated provider rather than standing beside a mountain road.
Leave unneeded luggage at the Lanshan hotel and use Lanshan as the transfer night between Yishui and Mengshan instead of driving directly from a cave to the foothills after dark. A mid-afternoon arrival is a city day, not a rushed county entry. Put the final night back in Lanshan before a train or flight, and make that departure day a city-culture day. This gives up one possible attraction but protects the station or airport buffer and avoids turning an uncertain last ride into an expensive private transfer.
